3M (NYSE: MMM), St. Paul, Minn., has formed a Sustainability and Product Stewardship Organization. The group will be led by Dr Gayle Schueller, vice president and chief sustainability officer, 3M Research & Development, effective June 1.
The move is in line with 3M’s efforts to embed sustainability even more broadly into its business practices, the company said.
