Industrial automation and digital transformation supplier Rockwell Automation appointed Jane Barr as President of Americas, effective immediately.
Barr takes over from Gina Claxton, who departed the company to explore new opportunities, and will continue to report to Senior VP and Chief Revenue Officer Scott Genereux.
A 28-year Rockwell veteran, Barr previously served as Regional President of Global Industries, where she directed Rockwell’s global industry practice. She is a senior member of the Global Sales & Marketing leadership team.
“Jane brings proven experience, a global mindset, and an excellent track record of building high performance teams,” Genereux said in an Oct. 16 news release. “I value her leadership and look forward to working with her in this new role.”
In her new position, Rockwell said Barr will drive the region by implementing an “industry-focused sales strategy” to enhance customer value and achieve growth targets.
The Americas organization includes Canada, the U.S. and Latin America.
