The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) added A&M Supply Inc. and Helix Linear Technologies as new distributor and manufacturer members, respectively.
Distributor
A&M Supply Inc. is a distributor of adjustable/variable speed drives, conveyors and materials handling components and pumps. Founded in 1951 and based in Pinellas Park, FL, the company serves the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. from its 10 locations.
“We believe that knowledge is power, and aligning with the PT/MC industry is just good business,” A&M Supply General Manager Hank Moore said in an Oct. 30 news release. “We joined PTDA to make our company more valuable to the industry.”
Manufacturer
Helix Linear Technologies specializes in the production of “precision-engineered” screw and linear actuators. Established in 2012 and based in Bechwood, OH, the company also produces diameter ball screws featuring uniquely shaped nuts. Helix Linear Technologies said its small diameter ball screws are particularly suited for medical and military applications.
“Helix Linear Technologies joins PTDA to continue industry collaboration and drive innovation in the linear motion industry,” Helix Linear Technologies CEO Chris Nook said.
