Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE) announced Sept. 1 its acquisition of Quest Engineering, Inc. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, Quest was founded in 1971 and distributes products such as hydraulic hose, valves and gauges. Quest has three additional locations in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Mandan, North Dakota; and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
It marks the second acquisition in 2022 for MCE and its sixth since 2021.
“Quest will expand our fluid power offering and provide entry into new and attractive geographies,” MCE chairman and CEO Charles Hale said in a news release. “We are excited to welcome the Quest associates to the growing MCE family.”
Founded in 1951, MCE is a Pennsylvania-based distributor of technical fluid power, automation, flow control, compressed air and lubrication products. MCE serves over 20,000 MRO and OEM customers from its 31 locations across the U.S.
