Founded in 1981, West-Lite Supply operates out of two locations: one in Hayward in the Bay Area and another in Cerritos near Los Angeles. The second-generation family business has consistently ranked among the top 100 U.S. lighting distributors, according to a news release.

“West-Lite has been a leader in the California marketplace for 40 years,” West-Lite Supply president Brenda Puckett said. “With the additional services that FSG offers, we are excited to tackle the California market with the same goals and values that have made us successful. I am excited to work with family and friends going forward.”

The acquisition will significantly bolster FSG’s business in southern California, according to the release, while also allowing for quicker service to customers in northern California.

“This is a great opportunity to not only increase our distribution footprint within the market, but also to increase the services we can provide to existing WLS customers, including lighting and electrical service, retrofits, and EV charging,” FSG Los Angeles branch director Chad Owens said. “Also, with the addition of the Hayward location, we will now have the ability to add FSG service trucks to Northern California and better serve our customers there.”

“This union between FSG and West-Lite is proof small family-focused, private companies are still the backbone of our economy and the best places to grow and prosper lives, communities, and entrepreneurism,” FSG president Bill Graham said.
