North American buying group Affiliated Distributors‘ AD Mexico division of independent distributors and suppliers commemorated its 10th anniversary at the AD Mexico Spring Network Meeting in Cancun, Mexico.
The event featured formal and informal networking, as well as supplier roundtable sessions and business meetings, focused on the achievements of 2023 and plans for expansion into new markets.
The spring meeting hosted the AD Mexico Divisional Board, Industrial and Safety Steering Committee, and Supplier Advisory Council, along with 120 AD Mexico electrical, industrial and safety members and suppliers.
AD Mexico Division Growth
AD Mexico logged 27% annual revenue growth in 2023 and recently expanded into the industrial and safety market, according to Juan Carlos Zacarias, Vice President of AD Mexico.
“The unwavering loyalty and dedication of the AD Mexico community has shaped a strong network of independent distributors and suppliers in the Mexican market,” Zacarias said in an April 2 news release.
The support of AD Mexico’s seven founding members — Grupo ABSA; Bricos; Elektron del Bajio; Grupo Diaz; HERMOS; Risoul; and Sensa — has contributed to the overall growth achieved by members and suppliers, officials said.
