On Aug. 29, the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA). which represents the industrial power transmission/motion control distribution channel, announced the addition of three distributors to its membership.

The following members joined Chicago-based PTDA:

• W. W. Grainger: A Fortune 500 company founded in 1927 with more than 4.5 million customers worldwide. Grainger offers more than 2 million repair and operating (MRO) products and technical support and inventory management services. Grainger ranked No. 7 on MDM’s Top Power Transmission/Bearing Distributors of 2023. The company also ranked in the following categories as part of MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors List: Industrial (ranked No. 1), MRO Industrial (No. 1), Fastener (No. 1), HVACR (No. 5), Plumbing (No. 5), Fluid Power (No. 6), Electrical (No. 16), Safety (unranked), JanSan (unranked).
• Gordon Russell Limited: A Canadian and family-owned business operating since 1930 supplying and servicing certified engineered products to industry in Western Canada and USA’s Pacific Northwest.
• MROSupply.com is the evolution of Los Angeles Rubber Company, a power transmission supplier that has been servicing the Los Angeles area since 1898.
