Over 600 participants joined the Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative‘s (IWDC) annual Sales & Purchasing Convention, a record number for the group.
IWDC said 124 member companies and 108 vendors attended the convention in Indianapolis from June 18-20. The convention included networking events, a trade show, warehouse tour and vendor demos.
At the convention, IWDC raised $25,500 that will go towards the group’s year-long campaign supporting the Travis Mills Foundation, which supports post-9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families through various programs.
The IWDC is a cooperative which leverages the strengths of its independent welding distributor members across North America. IWDC member companies collectively represent over $3.7 billion in sales, serving a wide range of industries. The common denominator is that these industries look to them for industrial, specialty, and medical gases as well as related equipment, welding hardgoods, and consumables.
