On Oct. 10, the Cincinnati, Ohio-based DPA Buying Group announced it formed a partnership with Staunton, Virginia-based Federated Auto Parts Distributors Inc.
The alliance will create new distribution opportunities for DPA’s preferred suppliers, giving them access and visibility to a new market of potential customers, DPA officials said in a press release.
“DPA’s automotive division also comes with the prospect of regional and national account opportunities for all members,” added DPA CEO Zachary Haines in a news release.
Federated is an auto parts distribution network with 50 warehouse distributors and over 4,000 auto parts stores across the country. Federated serves both professionals and the do-it-yourself market.
“From our initial meeting, it became very clear that there were tremendous synergies between our two organizations,” Haines said.
