The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) announced Jan. 20 that a new distributor member, Alabama-based Nelson Electric Motors, has joined its ranks.
Founded in 1968 in Alexander City, Alabama, Nelson Electric provides electro-mechanical repair services to central Alabama. The company specializes in electro-mechanical repair, preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance of electric motors, generators, gearsets and pumps through in-shop and field service. Nelson Electric also has locations in Opelika and Sylacauga, Alabama.
“We believe in the value of personal relationships with both customers and industry leaders and joined PTDA to build those powerful relationships,” John Langford, corporate buyer of bearing & power transmission sales at Nelson Electric, said.
