Wisconsin-based roofing, exterior and interior products distributor ABC Supply acquired American Building Materials, which does business as Premiere Roofing Supply LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Los Angeles, CA-based American Building Materials — a distributor of steep- and low-slope roofing and
waterproofing — was founded in 2012. An Aug. 6 ABC Supply news release noted that the company’s associates will remain in California to provide customers with familiarity.
“We’re happy to welcome the America Building Materials team and customers to our ABC Supply family,” ABC Supply’s West Region VP Matt Cooper said. “This new location enables us to strengthen our relationships with contractors and provide enhanced service throughout our network of branches in the greater Los Angeles area.”
ABC’s acquisition of American Building Materials established the first ABC location in Los Angeles and the 10th in the surrounding market.
ABC Supply was No. 1 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Building Material/Construction with $20.4 billion in 2023 revenue.
