Tip: Use Mobile to Increase Customer Stickiness

Salespeople can use mobile to embed themselves with customers.

Even if your customers aren't actively using mobile apps for ordering, providing mobile access for your salespeople can increase customer stickiness, says Ranga Bodla, head of industry marketing, NetSuite in Making the Case for Mobile.

Mobile access helps a company further embed itself with a customer by allowing its salespeople to meet as many needs as possible during sales calls, Bodla says.

They can access product and price information, along with other important data, when working with customers.

“It’s such a big difference when your salespeople can be in front of a customer and with a level of confidence be able to say, ‘I can deliver that for you next week',’” he says, “It’s more about your salespeople (being) empowered to not overpromise and underdeliver, but to underpromise and overdeliver – but also to become a trusted adviser to their companies.”
