I’m delighted to welcome two new team members to the MDM team as we grow our capabilities during this incredible year of disruption, challenge and opportunity for our industry. Tish Drake joins MDM as Senior Vice President, Publishing and Bob Jordan as Vice President, Business Development. Their respective skillsets will enable MDM in 2021 to expand our market intelligence depth in analytics and programming, as well as deeper engagement with its audience and membership of more than 20,000 wholesale distribution leaders worldwide.
Tish Drake joins MDM with more than 25 years of B2B media experience across the satellite, aviation and defense market industries. Overseeing sales, editorial, marketing and audience development, she has successfully transitioned traditional print media brands into robust communities supported by agile digital platforms and targeted events. As the media world and industries served have transformed, Tish has repeatedly built stronger B2B communities and strategic marketing partnerships, with clients such as Honeywell, Boeing and Wind River.
Tish really elevates our team’s coverage of the best practices, transformation efforts and stories of how executives across all sectors of wholesale distribution globally are leading their teams through disruption into new opportunities and competitive advantage. She knows how to bring industry leaders together and create value for strategic marketing partners. Her knowledge and specialized experience will be instrumental for elevating MDM’s research-based products, services and events.
Bob Jordan joins the MDM Analytics team to develop stronger market analytics tools for manufacturers and distributors across the major industrial and construction product categories, including electrical, power transmission, fluid power/control, general MRO industrial, safety, jan-san, HVACR and other segments. He’s a great add to our strong team today.
Most recently, Bob was VP Business Development for the US Electrical division at Affiliated Distributors, where he expanded membership and reach with many new, exemplary members. He brings more than 35 years of experience in both manufacturing and distribution channels to the role. Previous manufacturing accomplishments include diverse roles in marketing, sales and operations at Sylvania (now LEDVANCE).
