The latest installment of MDM’s podcast series, “Disrupting Distribution”, is a double-header.
In the first part, CEO Tom Gale and COO Ian Heller discuss the recent benefits that were added to Amazon’s Business Prime program, including deeper spend analysis and preferred-supplier management tools, more attractive payment terms and same-day delivery option on more than one million SKUs.
In the second part, Gale talks with Alan Adams, CEO of the highly regarded e-commerce advisory firm Navazon Consulting, about Adams’ experience in helping his clients get the most out of their business relationships with Amazon. They also preview Adams’ upcoming four-hour workshop “How to Maximize Sales, Profits & Branding on Amazon Business”, which will take place in Denver on December 4. The workshop is intended for manufacturers, retailers and distributors who are selling, or are considering selling, their products on one of Amazon’s marketplaces. Adams, who is a veteran of both the U.S. Air Force and Amazon, is also giving free business evaluations to two event registrants who will be selected by drawing. Yet another reason not to miss this amazing event!
The workshop will be followed on December 5-6 by the MDM Forum, “How Distributors Should Respond to Amazon Business.”
