Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO), Cleveland, OH, reported third quarter sales of $669.5 million, a year-over-year increase of 17.9 percent. Profit was $106.1 million, an increase of 76.7 percent compared to the prior year.
Sales for the first nine months decreased 9.7 percent year-over-year to $1.9 billion. Profit increased 54 percent to $223.3 million.
