Weyerhaeuser Co. (NYSE: WY), Federal Way, WA, reported sales for the second quarter of $1.8 billion, an increase of 9.2 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit was $24 million, compared with $168 million in 2Q 2016.
For the first six months, sales were $3.5 billion, an increase of 14.4 percent. Profit decreased 27.3 percent to $181 million.
