WESCO International Inc. (NYSE: WCC), Pittsburgh, PA, reported third-quarter sales of $2.1 billion, up 3.4 percent compared with the prior-year period. The distributor reported net income of $66.6 million, up 24.4 percent compared with the third quarter of 2017.

Sales for the nine months ended September 30 were $6.2 billion, an increase of 8.5 percent over the prior-year period; net income for the first nine months of the year was $169.2 million, an increase of 20.1% over the prior-year period, the company said.
