Motion Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), will acquire Power Industries, Inc., also known as Santa Rosa MRO, LLC, based in Santa Rosa, CA.
Power Industries specializes in MRO parts, including bearings, power transmission, fluid power, and hose and fittings, and serves wineries, food and beverage, water treatment, forest products, construction, and manufacturing industries.
The deal expands Motion Industries’ footprint in the San Francisco Bay Area and marks the distributor’s second acquisition in California in the last year. The distributor acquired Numatic Engineering, Los Angeles, in August 2017.
