3M (NYSE: MMM), St. Paul, MN, has named Michael Roman as CEO. Roman succeeds Inge Thulin, who has been appointed to a newly created position, executive chairman of the board.
Both changes will go into effect July 1, 2018. Roman was most recently COO and executive vice president.
