Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco has acquired the assets of Hy-Performance Fluid Power Pty Ltd, Brisbane, Australia, a service provider for mining and infrastructure. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Hy-Performance Fluid Power reported revenues of AUD 7.5 million (US$64.4 million) in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017. The business will become part of the service division in the Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area, which will be listed as Epiroc on the stock exchange in mid-2018.
