Pump and compressor manufacturer Gardner Denver (NYSE: GDI) reported $597 million in revenues for the third quarter of 2019, down 11% over the prior-year period. Net income was $41 million, down 43% from a year ago.
Industrial revenues were $316 million, down 1% compared to the prior year. Energy revenues were $209 million, down 30% compared to the prior year. Medical revenues were $72 million, up 3% compared to the prior year.
For the first nine months, total company sales reached $1.8 billion, down from $2 billion during the same period in 2018. Net income was $133.4 million, down 23.7%.
