WESCO International Inc. (NYSE: WCC), Pittsburgh, reported second-quarter sales of $2.2 billion, up 2.2% compared to the second quarter of 2018. Organic sales for the second quarter of 2019 grew by 1.9%. Net income was $63.5 million, a 2.8% increase compared to the year-ago period.
WESCO’s sales for the first half of the year were $4.1 billion, an increase of 0.3% compared to the year-ago period. Net income for the first half was $105.8 million, up 2.5% compared to 2018.
