Myers Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MYE), Akron, Ohio, a manufacturer of polymer products for industrial, agricultural, automotive, commercial and consumer markets, reported sales for the second quarter of $134.3 million, a 4.5% decrease over the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 23.3% to $6.6 million.
For the first six months sales fell 6.7% to $273.4 million. Profit fell 19% to $13.2 million.
