Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), New Britain, CT, reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2018 financial results.
The company reported 2018 full-year revenues of $14 billion, up 8 percent compared with 2017. Fourth-quarter sales were $3.6 billion, up 5 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
Sales increased in all of the manufacturer’s business segments during the fourth quarter, with its Industrial segment showing the strongest growth. Industrial segment sales rose 14 percent to $549 million during the quarter. Tools & Storage segment sales rose 4 percent to $2.6 billion, and Security segment sales rose 1 percent to $504 million during the fourth quarter.
