Metalworking and MRO supplies distributor BlackHawk Industrial promoted Jay Costa to the role of General Manager of the company’s Manufacturing group.
Costa will succeed Todd Sanzone, who will be leaving the company in early 2025 to pursue other opportunities.
In his new position, Costa will focus on providing sales teams with specialized training and resources to better serve customers, raise awareness of the group’s capabilities, identify new opportunities and foster stronger team collaboration. BlackHawk said that this transition highlights the company’s dedication to innovation, customer service and leadership within the manufacturing sector.
“Jay’s deep technical expertise and operational insight make him the ideal choice to lead our Manufacturing Group’s next chapter,” BlackHawk President and CEO John Mark said in a Dec. 19 news release. “His proven ability to integrate teams, drive efficiency and understand customer needs will build the momentum to propel BlackHawk forward.”
Tulsa, OK-based BlackHawk — No. 34 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Industrial Supplies, and No. 15 for MRO — previously announced the appointment of Jay Dykstra and Chad Patterson as Sales Managers for the company’s Lake Michigan region on Dec. 3.
