Farmers Branch, TX-based hydraulic, electromechanical and automation technologies distributor Evolution Motion Solutions opened a new facility in Wilmington, MA.

The 20,000-square-foot facility features an office and warehouse space to improve service capabilities and expand offerings for customers in the Northeast.

“With our expansion to New England just under a year ago, this new facility underscores our commitment to supporting customers in this dynamic region,” Evolution President of Factory Automation Mark Majewski said in a Dec. 9 news release. “This investment ensures we can deliver world-class automation solutions tailored to the unique needs of industries in the northeast, such as aerospace, life sciences and semiconductors.”

Evolution said that the new location is designed to deliver quicker response times, local technical expertise and more efficient logistics for customers throughout New England. The facility features office spaces for engineering and customer service teams, as well as a state-of-the-art warehouse capable of supporting advanced automation technologies.

On Nov. 4, Evolution announced that it rebranded from Womack, launching a new logo, website and updating marketing and sales materials.

The company was No. 49 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Industrial Supplies.
