Zep Inc. (NYSE: ZEP), Atlanta, GA, a producer, marketer, and service provider of a wide range of cleaning and maintenance products, reported sales for the second quarter ended Feb. 28, 2010, were $127.4 million, an increase of 11.1% over the same period a year ago. Profit was $0.7 million, compared to a year-ago loss of $0.9 million.

Fiscal year to date, sales were $254.1 million, an increase of 4.2% from the prior year period. Profit was $6.2 million, compared to a year ago loss of $2.5 million.
