Electrical and HVAC manufacturer and distributor NSI Industries was acquired by private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Huntersville, NC-based NSI consists of two divisions — electrical and HVAC — that sell through third-party distributors and have strong manufacturing capabilities. The electrical division features brands that include Bridgeport, Polaris and Tork and offers products such as insulated connectors, fittings, wire management solutions, fiber assemblies and other components. The HVAC division — led by brands Duro Dyne and Supco — supplies HVAC components to contractors and installers.

Schrotenboer said in a Nov. 18 news release. “Their expertise and resources align perfectly with our vision for growth and innovation. Sentinel has expertise in electrical manufacturing and distribution, having worked with companies like ECM Industries, Power Products, Chromlax, Engineered Controls, RotoMetrics and Spectrum Safety Solutions.
