OEM foodservice, HVAC and residential appliance parts distributor Parts Town Unlimited —the parent company of Parts Town — appointed Chris Dacey to Chief Strategy and Operations Officer.
With over 30 years of experience in business strategy and operations, he will oversee strategic planning, operations, IT and the project management office for the company.
“We’ve known Chris for many years, and he’s been deeply involved in our business as Operating Partner at Berkshire Partners, which has been our lead private equity sponsor since 2016,” Parts Town Unlimited CEO Steve Snower said in a Nov. 14 news release. “His knowledge of our business at Parts Town Unlimited, paired with his strategy, operations and financial experience, will help us continue to strengthen our strategic planning and execution to further accelerate growth and innovation. After partnering closely with Chris for the past six years during his time at Berkshire, it was natural to have him join us officially.”
His prior experience includes 13 years as an operating partner at Berkshire Partners, where he worked closely with companies, as well as serving as chief strategy officer for the Houston Rockets. He has also held leadership roles at both The Parthenon Group and KPMG.
The company previously announced the appointments of Jamie Head as its Chief Information Officer and Lisa Backlin as Group VP of Supply Chain in early September.
