Industrial rubber and fluid power distributor Singer Industrial made a pair of top leadership changes, announcing two promotions on June 18.

Pete Haberbosch

The Dallas-based company has appointed Pete Haberbosch — the company’s former Vice President of Business Development and M&A — to the position of President.

A news release detailed that Haberbosch is a 30-year industrial supply veteran, including the past 10 at Singer. He joined the company in 2014 as VP and general manager of Singer’s Hampton Rubber business unit and managed several field business units before his most recent role there.

Chris Holder

Additionally, Singer’s former VP of Operational Excellence, Chris Holder, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. The company noted that Holder has 28 years of industrial business experience, with the past eight at Singer, where he’s served in multiple operational roles. Before Singer, Holder was Director of Operations at Lewis-Goetz.

“Our leaders have many years of experience, and a track record of accomplishment that has made them well-known and respected in our industry,” Singer Industrial Chairman Don Fritzinger said. “Pete’s dedication to our core values, success in supporting our field operations, along with his leadership skills and industry background make him the perfect choice as Singer Industrial’s next president.”

Haberbosch and Holder will work closely with Singer’s Rubber division President Sam Petillo and Fluid Power President Scott Wojciak.

Moving forward, Haberbosch and Holder will work closely with Sam Petillo, President of the Rubber Products Division, and Scott Wojciak, President of the Fluid Power Division, as the commercial leaders of their respective business units. The rest of the leadership team is comprised of CFO Charlie Brown, CMO Rebecca Gummerson and CHRO Natalie Curtis.

Formerly known as SBP Holdings, Singer Industrial charted at No. 36 on MDM’s 2024 Top Industrial Distributors List, as well as No. 16 for Fluid Power.
