Middletown, CT-based U.S. Electrical Services (USESI) is set to boost its northeast presence with the acquisition of Askco Electric Supply — a single-location IMARK distributor in Glens Falls, NY.
Terms were not disclosed for the deal, which is expected to close in July.
In operation since 1974 and led by Jim Knapp and his family, Askco serves residential, commercial and industrial markets. It will become part of USESI’s Electrical Wholesalers & HZ Electric Supply Region, but will continue under the Askco name.
USESI’s footprint includes about 150 locations nationwide and more than 2,000 employees. It operates under Standard Electric in Massachusetts and New Hampshire; Electrical Wholesalers (New England); Electrical Wholesalers (Connecticut); HZ Electric; Yale Electric; Monarch Electric; Maurice Electric; Lade Supply; Walters Wholesale; and Weidenbach Brown.
USESI is member of IMARK.
