New Castle, DE-based distributor United Electric Supply Co. has expanded in the form of a new regional service center (RSC) located in Culpeper, VA. 

The facility allows customers access to increased local stock and advanced feeder cable parallel equipment, United said, adding that the company’s investments in wire and conduit management supports projects of any size across its entire territory.

The company said the new location creates an opportunity to service both new and existing customers in the area and aligns with United’s five-year expansion strategy.

“We are pleased with the addition of this new location and welcome to our company a new group of talented, customer-service oriented employee-owners,” United CEO & President George Vorwick said in a March 4 news release. “This investment is representative of our long-term strategy of expanding both our service organization and our geographic footprint.”

Employee-owned United Electric Supply offers a full range of in electrical products and services with concentrations in industrial automation, building automation, lighting, wire/cable/conduit, distribution and control, data communications, electro-mechanical and energy solutions. The company has over 300 employees.

United has locations throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and New York.
