A little under three months following the landmark merger of JanSan, foodservice disposables and industrial packaging products distributors BradyIFS and Envoy Solutions, the combined company has a new name: BradyPLUS.
In a Jan. 17 news release, BradyPLUS said the new brand identity is a pivotal step toward realizing the company’s strategic priority of “operating as one.”
“Our new name reflects the transformation of our company, our industry and our passion for serving our customers,” Ken Sweder, company Chairman & CEO said in the release. “Customers today need more than a company that delivers supplies; they need a partner that provides tailored support and solutions, enabling them to be more successful and their operations more productive.”
Sweder joined the MDM Podcast during November 2023 to discuss the BradyIFS and Envoy Solutions merger, which combined two companies on MDM’s 2023 Top JanSan Distributors List and resulted in a firm with nearly $5 billion in annual revenue.
“The new branding is timely and consistent with the continued radical simplification of our great company – offering integrated capabilities and exceptional experiences nationally, all in service of our customers,” Sweder added. “In my opinion, we have the only sustainable and scalable model in our space.”
BradyPLUS said the new name honors the company’s heritage of family-owned businesses and “captures its promise to deliver more each day for customers, communities, and associates.”
The release added that the BradyPLUS name and logo are modernized for the company’s next chapter and help further differentiate the company in the marketplace. Brand elements such as the Brady name, coloring and the bee icon (within the “B” of Brady) are nods to the company’s collective history and track record of industry leadership. The overall logo design, the bold orange color, and the addition of the PLUS encapsulates the company’s value proposition: Supplies PLUS Support.
The new corporate identity will roll out across different brand touchpoints beginning this Spring.
Since announcing the BradyIFS and Envoy merger in late August, BradyPLUS has been busy with more acquisition expansion. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the company acquired Qualmax Supplies (Carteret, NJ), Sierra Packaging (Tyler, TX) and PFS Sales (Raleigh, NC).
