Virginia-based foodservice distributor Performance Food Group Co. started operations at its newly built sales and distribution center in Richmond, according to a local news report.
The 332,000-square-foot facility is the second in the region. A ribbon cutting for the center was held in September.
“Having two facilities in the Richmond region allows us to put processes and procedures in place in each facility that cater to the unique needs of certain customers,” company spokesman Scott Golden said in an email to Richmond BizSense.
