In mid-June, metal parts manufacturer MW Components announced on its LinkedIn page that it had acquired Western Wire Products Company.
“Together, our combined operation will allow us to supply the highest quality wire forms and springs to our customers around the world,” MW Components officials wrote. “Western Wire will join 20+ locations known for high-quality, precision springs, wire forms, fasteners, and metal components, enabling us to offer a broader product portfolio to our customers.”
Western Wire is a supplier of industrial wire form and fastener products, with a diverse range of products including everything from cotter pins to tag fasteners and V hooks. The company is a member of the National Fastener Distributors Association (NFDA). Jim Degnan of S. W. Anderson was named President of the association on June 15.
