This month, Irvington, New Jersey-based wholesale building materials distributor Manufacturers Reserve Supply announced weatherization partnerships with multiple companies.
On May 18, MRS announced its distribution partnership with two building materials companies: Advanced Building Products and Tamlyn. MRS said those partnerships will help it offer customers a better line of weatherization products that meet updated building codes and standards.
The partnership with Tamlyn will bring a superior new drainable housewrap to the market, MRS said. The company’s agreement with Advanced Building Products will allow for the distribution of a premium underlayment for cedar roofs that is designed to protect against moisture and decay.
“We are thrilled to announce the addition of Advanced Building Product and Tamlyn to our weatherization portfolio,” MRS said via a news release. “This strategic expansion allows Manufacturers Reserve Supply to offer a comprehensive range of solutions for builders’ projects, all conveniently available under one roof. With the inclusion of these respected brands, we are further empowering our customers by providing them with a choice of high-quality products that address their specific weatherization needs. This enhanced portfolio solidifies MRS’s commitment to delivering exceptional value, efficiency, and convenience to our valued clients.”
Earlier this month on May 10, MRS announced a partnership with Henry, also a manufacturer of weatherization products. Under this new agreement, MRS will distribute a full lineup of Henry weatherization products and also stock a complete offering of Henry flashings, tape and sealants.
“Weatherization is a crucial component in the construction industry, and using the proper products for the building envelope is essential,” MRS said in a statement. “The partnership between MRS and Henry ensures that dealers, builders, contractors & architects have access to the best weatherization products available on the market.
