Global pumps and compressors manufacturer Ingersoll Rand has appointed Enrique Minarro Viseras as its senior vice president and general manager of the global Precision & Science Technologies (PST) segment, the company announced April 11. Minarro Viseras will transition from his current role as senior vice president and general manager of the Industrial Technologies and Services, Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (ITS EMEIA) business unit, according to a news release.
Ingersoll Rand Chairman, President and CEO Vicente Reynal will assume interim leadership of ITS EMEIA until Minarro Viseras’s successor is hired.
“Enrique is an exceptionally talented business leader who has shown the ability to deliver strong results in a complex operating environment,” Reynal said in the release. “Since joining Gardner Denver in 2016, Enrique has driven consistent growth and margin expansion in our EMEIA region while building a world-class team focused on delivering exceptional customer service. I am excited to have Enrique lead our global PST segment as we continue to execute on our plan to deliver ongoing value for our customers, employees and stockholders.”
As senior vice president and general manager, Minarro Viseras will be responsible for delivering PST’s global strategy, including all commercial, operations and new product development activities.
Minarro Viseras brings extensive leadership experience to his new role. Before joining Ingersoll Rand in 2020, he was vice president and general manager of the Industrials Segment EMEIA Region at Gardner Denver. Minarro Viseras’s past experience also includes a 15-year tenure with Emerson Electric, during which he served as managing director of Emerson Network Power and president of Control Techniques for Emerson Industrial Automation.
Minarro Viseras holds a doctorate in industrial engineering, a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in engineering and management from Cranfield University in the U.K.
