The PTDA Foundation has raised nearly $125,000 during the first three months of its 2023 Fund Drive Campaign, the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) announced on Feb. 20. The annual campaign supports PT WORK Force, an initiative to empower power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry employers to be more successful in their recruitment and retention efforts, according to a news release.
“Our industry makes the world go round, and the people we employ are integral to its success,” Industrial Profit Strategies President Bill Moore — also president of the PTDA Foundation — said in the release. “Ensuring PT/MC companies hire the best candidates and build the best team means employers need resources and tools to navigate recruitment and retention challenges. Every contribution to the PTDA Fund Drive directly supports PT WORK Force programs to sustain our essential labor force.”
Contributors to the 2023 fund include Allied Bearing & Supply, Applied Industrial Technologies, DXP Enterprises and Purvis Industries. For more information about the fund and a complete list of donors, visit ptda.org/FoundationGive.
