Electrical distributor Rexel USA on Jan. 6 said it has completed its acquisition of the Buckles-Smith Electric Company, headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Financial details were not disclosed.
Rexel USA — which ranks No. 4 on MDM’s 2022 Top Electrical Distributors list — said the deal strengthens its California region and expands its footprint as an authorized Rockwell Automation distributor.

Lakeside Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to Buckles-Smith, and Nixon Peabody LLP acted as its legal advisor with regard to the transaction, Rexel USA said. Barnes & Thornburg LLP acted as legal advisor for Rexel USA.
