Food service packaging and janitorial supply distributor Imperial Dade last week acquired American Paper & Twine, a Nashville-based distributor of janitorial, packaging, food service, safety and office products.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal is the 44th acquisition for Imperial Dade under CEO Robert Tillis and President Jason Tillis.
The acquisition of APT is expected to “significantly strengthen” Imperial Dade’s existing presence in the Southeast U.S., help reach customers across the country and solidify its position as the national leader in specialty distribution, Imperial Dade said.
“By leveraging Imperial Dade’s market leading platform, APT customers can expect the same exceptional customized service coupled with an even greater offering of products and solutions,” the company said.
“APT’s storied history in the industry and exceptional customer service make it a great addition to the Imperial Dade platform,” Robert Tillis said.
