McKinney, Texas-based building products distributor SRS Distribution Inc. announced it has acquired Wimsatt Building Materials, a distributor of residential and commercial roofing, siding, windows, doors and other related products.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
SRS ranks No. 6 on MDM’s Top Distributors list for building materials and construction distributors, with $3.8 billion in revenue in 2020.
Headquartered in Wayne, Michigan, Wimsatt has eight locations in Michigan and Ohio.
Co-owner Charlie Hoffman will continue to lead employees under the Wimsatt banner, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers and employees, SRS said.
