Sonepar USA Holdings Inc., a Charleston, South Carolina-based subsidiary of the privately held Sonepar Group, on Tuesday announced it closed its acquisition of Springfield Electric Supply Co., Springfield, Illinois, on Aug. 31.
Financial terms of the deal, first announced July 22, weren’t disclosed.
A family-owned business headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, since 1912, Springfield Electric adds 19 branch locations and 350 employees to the Sonepar network. Springfield Electric has operations in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Iowa.
