Charles D. Jones Co., a North Kansas City, Missouri-based HVACR distributor, on Friday announced the acquisition of Air Conditioning Utilities, Omaha, Nebraska. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Air Conditioning Utilities has been an HVACR distributor since 1934, servicing customers in Nebraska and western Iowa. This acquisition will give employee-owned Charles D. Jones a total of 21 branches operating in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska.
Both companies distribute Luxaire (JCI) and Mitsubishi Electric products along with many other shared product lines. Management from both companies said they “feel the synergy created from this transaction will greatly benefit their customer bases with expanded dealer training and product availability.”
