SRS Distribution Inc., McKinney, Texas, on Friday announced that it has appointed Ryan Nelson to executive vice president and CFO.
Nelson will report to Dan Tinker, president and CEO, and he succeeds R. Scott Vansant, who will remain with the company as executive vice president.
“This move reflects the ongoing succession planning that has been underway at SRS to ensure the continuity of financial and strategic leadership through and beyond our shareholders’ investment period,” said Tinker. “I have known Ryan since 2012 when he advised SRS on its first recapitalization, and we were fortunate to have him join us in 2019 as our SVP of M&A and Strategy, where he has taken us to an entirely new level. Ryan brings the passion, strategic mindset, and experience to help us build a world class distribution business. This decision also paves the path for Scott to assume an important operating role, while facilitating an effective transition of responsibilities to Ryan. I can’t thank Scott enough for all he has done and continues to do for the company and our shareholders.”
