Plastics manufacturer Bloomer Plastics Inc., Bloomer, WI, has acquired Delaware, OH-based Optimum Plastics, a manufacturer of high barrier coextruded blown films.
The combination of engineered blown film to Bloomer’s existing portfolio of custom designed cast film is directly aligned with its fundamental strategic initiatives and is core to the company’s growth plans, Bloomer said is a press release. This transaction will nearly double the company's revenue and employee base.
Bloomer Plastics is a manufacturer of custom engineered cast embossed films for the industrial, medical and packaging markets.
