Plumbing distributor Ferguson, Newport News, VA, will construct a new distribution center in Coxsackie, NY, and is leasing warehouse space for a regional distribution hub in Secaucus, NJ. The two facilities will support Ferguson's metro New York and Northeast branches with almost 1 million feet of warehouse space.

The facility will create 95 new jobs.

"By establishing this new distribution center, Ferguson Enterprises is bringing nearly 100 jobs to the Capital Region and spurring continued growth in the community of Coxsackie. This was a collaborative effort with support from both the state and local governments, and I am pleased to welcome this company to New York State," Governor Cuomo said in a press release announcing the new project.

Ferguson has more than 100 locations in the region.
