C. E. Thurston & Sons Distributing, LLC, Norfolk, VA, has acquired the Empire Industrial Products Division from Management Consulting, Inc. With the acquisition, C.E. Thurston is changing its trading name to Empire Machinery & Supply to reflect the longstanding history of the company.
“The combination of our two firms will provide the foundation for us to build the preeminent Virginia-based independent industrial distributor," Doug Sims, president of CET said.
Empire Machinery & Supply will be headquartered in Norfolk, VA, and with branches in Hampton, Richmond, Roanoke and Lynchburg.
