Motion Industries, Birmingham, AL, No. 6 on MDM’s 2015 list of the top 40 industrial distributors, has agreed to acquire Moss Rubber and Equipment Corp., a distributor of industrial rubber products.
Moss specializes in hose and rubber products for the petroleum, construction, mining, manufacturing, transportation and agricultural industries throughout northern California. Moss services customers from two locations, South San Francisco and Benicia, CA.
The purchase will help Motion Industries, a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE: GPC), Atlanta, GA, broaden its hose and rubber services.
