Paris-based electrical distributor Rexel has acquired Belgium-based electrical distributor Electro-Industrie en Acoustiek.

Electro-Industrie en Acoustiek mainly addresses clients of the industrial zone of Antwerp's port and benefits from a strong industrial end-market exposure. The company, with around 30 employees and 3 branches, reported 2014 sales of €15 million (US$ 16.4 million).
