Industrial gases company Praxair Inc. (NYSE: PX), Danbury, CT, will increase prices on packaged industrial, specialty and medical gas and bulk gas customers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, effective June 1.
Price adjustments will vary as permitted by individual supply contracts. Prices will increase up to 15 percent for nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide; up to 20 percent for argon and hydrogen; up to 15 percent for facility fees or cylinder rental rates; and up to 5 percent on hardgoods.
The company last increased prices in December.
